CRIB-CTRL — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to CRIB-CTRL. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of cribcontrol.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make through it. By browsing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

CRIB-CTRL sells digitally printed rugs and home decor accessories. All products are digitally printed, not hand-tufted, hand-knotted, or embroidered — this printing process is core to how our designs look and feel, and it informs several policies below (see Section 5).

2. Products & Availability

  • Product designs, colours, and descriptions are presented as accurately as possible, but slight variation may occur due to screen display settings and the digital printing process.
  • Products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue designs, or refuse/cancel an order at our discretion (e.g. suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock issues).
  • "Drop" or limited-edition items may sell out and will not be restocked unless explicitly stated.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in INR (₹) and are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout.
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice; the price charged is the one displayed at the time of order confirmation.
  • Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. CRIB-CTRL does not store your full card/payment credentials.
  • Orders are confirmed only after successful payment authorization.

4. Shipping

  • Orders are processed within [5-6] business days of confirmation.
  • Estimated delivery timelines are [6-8 business days] depending on location; timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by courier delays, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
  • Shipping charges (if any) are shown at checkout.
  • Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the courier/shipping partner.
  • Please inspect your package on delivery. Report visible transit damage within [24–48 hours] of receipt (see Section 5).

5. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

We want you to love your CRIB-CTRL piece. Because every rug is made-to-order/digitally printed in limited runs, please read this section carefully.

5.1 Eligibility Window

  • Return or exchange requests must be raised within [3 days] of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with original packaging and tags intact.
  • Items showing signs of use, staining, odour, pet exposure, or damage caused after delivery are not eligible.

5.2 What's Covered

We accept returns/exchanges for:

  • Damaged or defective items received in a damaged state or with a manufacturing/printing defect.
  • Wrong item delivered (incorrect design, size, or product).

5.3 What's Not Covered

  • Minor variations in colour or print placement due to screen calibration or the digital printing process — this is inherent to the medium and not considered a defect.
  • Change of mind on made-to-order or limited "drop" items, unless explicitly marked as returnable at time of purchase.
  • Items damaged due to improper care, washing, or use inconsistent with the care instructions provided.
  • Sale, clearance, or final-sale items (clearly marked as such).

5.4 How to Request

  1. Email [cribcontrolbusiness@gmail.com] or use the Contact page with your order number, photos/video of the issue, and a brief description within the eligibility window.
  2. Our team will review and respond within [2–3 business days] with approval, rejection, or a request for more info.
  3. Approved returns will be picked up (where serviceable) or you'll be asked to ship the item back; return shipping for defective/wrong items is on us, return shipping for other approved cases is on the customer unless stated otherwise.

5.5 Refunds

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds are processed to the original payment method within [5–7 business days].
  • Alternatively, you may opt for store credit or an exchange for another design/size, subject to availability.
  • Shipping charges (if originally paid) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

5.6 Exchanges

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the requested design/size is unavailable, we'll offer store credit or a refund instead.

6. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they are shipped. Once an order is marked "shipped," it can no longer be cancelled and standard return policy applies upon delivery.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity, with a full refund issued in such cases.

7. Product Care

Our rugs are digitally printed and should be cared for accordingly:

  • Spot clean with a damp cloth; avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
  • Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.
  • Do not machine wash unless specified on the product's care label. Damage resulting from improper care is not covered under warranty, returns, or exchange.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other accounts, or data.
  • Post or transmit harmful code, spam, or infringing content via any Site feature (e.g. reviews, comments).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CRIB-CTRL is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or products, including delays, third-party courier issues, or minor variations in printed products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order.
